Template terms — not legal advice. Align with your actual business entity and Stripe billing setup before enabling paid checkout.

1. Agreement

By accessing https://ride2map.app (“Service”), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Operator: Andreas Kämpf (hello@ride2map.app).

2. The Service

RIDE2MAP provides map-based ride replay, imports from files and supported third-party sources, optional cloud storage, and share links. Features may change during beta. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate contact information and keep it current.

4. Your content and imports

  • You must have the right to upload or connect ride data you import.
  • Third-party sources (Strava, Floaty, Komoot exports, etc.) remain subject to their own terms; you must comply with them.
  • You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display your content solely to operate the Service (replay, saves, shares you create).
  • Do not upload unlawful content, others’ private data without permission, or malware.

5. Share links

Share URLs may be accessible to anyone with the link depending on visibility settings (private / unlisted / community). You are responsible for what you publish. We may remove content that violates law or these Terms.

6. Paid plans and Stripe

Plus and Creator plans (when offered) are billed through Stripe Payment Links or Checkout. Prices are shown before purchase (USD). Subscriptions renew until cancelled according to Stripe and the plan description. EU consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal — see our Right of withdrawal (Widerrufsbelehrung). Cancel renewal anytime via Account → Manage subscription (Stripe Customer Portal).

7. Acceptable use

No scraping of the Service beyond normal use, no circumvention of rate limits, no reverse engineering of provider APIs we integrate, and no use that harms other users or infrastructure.

8. Intellectual property

The RIDE2MAP brand, UI, and software are protected. Third-party logos and map data belong to their owners. Mapbox, Strava, and other marks are used for identification only.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is”. Replay and telemetry are for recreation and analysis, not safety-critical navigation or medical use. We are not liable for decisions you make based on displayed data.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body, or health. Otherwise liability for slight negligence is limited to typical foreseeable damages. Mandatory consumer rights under German law remain unaffected.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend accounts for breach of these Terms or abuse. You may request account deletion via hello@ride2map.app.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, excluding conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer habitually resident in the EU, mandatory protections of your country of residence may apply. Courts at the operator’s seat in Germany have jurisdiction where permitted by law.
