What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. We also use similar technologies (local storage, session storage) for preferences and consent.
Essential cookies and storage
| Name / type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase auth cookies | Keep you signed in | Session / refresh per Supabase |
| OAuth state cookies | CSRF protection for Strava / Floaty connect | Short-lived |
| Analytics visitor cookie (server-set) | Anonymous pageview counting | Per our server configuration |
| r2m_cookie_consent_v1 (localStorage) | Remember cookie notice dismissal | Until cleared |
Third-party cookies
Google OAuth — if you sign in with Google, Google may set cookies during the OAuth flow. Stripe — if you open a Stripe checkout page, Stripe may use cookies for fraud prevention and checkout. Mapbox — map tiles are loaded from Mapbox; refer to Mapbox’s privacy policy for their practices.
Analytics
We send anonymized page-open events to our own API for product metrics. We do not use Google Analytics in the default configuration. If that changes, we will update this page and the cookie banner.
Your choices
You can block cookies in browser settings; essential features (sign-in, saves) may then not work. Use the on-site notice to acknowledge non-essential analytics where shown.
